S P A C I O U S N E S S — A New Moon Sound Bath with Melanie Meherin
Sound Bath for a New Moon in Scorpio
With Melanie Meherin
Sliding Scale: $28/$38/$48
Spaciousness is an ongoing series of evening offerings at Fields of Alchemy for people who spend their days holding space for others — therapists, counselors, teachers, doctors, nurses, bodyworkers, guides, and practitioners of all kinds who rarely have a room of their own to simply receive. Melanie Meherin brings a contemplative ease to her sound baths that only comes with time and practice, unhurried, quietly powerful, and full of presence and depth. October’s new moon falls in Scorpio, and there is something fitting about beginning a new series in a new space, under a star-filled sky that is asking us to trust the mystery.
S P A C I O U S N E S S — Practitioner Magic Embodiment Practice with Ariel Reiner and Dr. Brianna Sas
Practitioner Magic
Embodiment Practice with Ariel Reiner and Dr. Brianna Sas
Sliding Scale: $12/$17/$22
Spaciousness is an ongoing series of evening offerings at Fields of Alchemy for people who spend their days holding space for others—therapists, counselors, teachers, doctors, nurses, bodyworkers, guides, and practitioners of all kinds who rarely have a room of their own to simply receive.
Somatic therapist Ariel Reiner and Dr. Brianna Sas invite you into embodied presence with Practitioner Magic. Born from a desire to offer ourselves the same care we extend to others, Practitioner Magic is a space to slow down, fill our cups, and tend to ourselves, together. Through gentle breathwork, guided meditation, subtle energy practices, and Qigong, we’ll explore embodied presence in a space of shared practice and community.
Soma Mandala: Subtle Body Transmission and Teaching
Soma Mandala: Subtle Body Transmission and Teaching with Adam Persinger
Sliding Scale: $60 / $100 / $140
An invitation and introduction to a series of 4-hour classes dedicated to discovering and awakening the subtle body—the living, felt layers of experience that lie just beneath ordinary awareness. By drawing attention inward to your direct, embodied feeling perception, you open the door to subtler sensations, unexpected insights, and epiphanies—much like the wonder that arises when exploring a new country. This is not abstract theory; it is a direct, experiential path into awareness in the body/heart/mind. If you have struggled to deepen (or even begin) a meditation practice, felt redundant in your yoga or sport, or longed for a clearer map of somatic/psychological/spiritual embodiment, these sessions offer a gentle yet powerful way forward.

With Willow Gibbons
Sliding Scale: $45/$55/$65
When you open yourself to the next unfolding moment, what seems to be emerging in your life? As you wonder and wander in the realms of creativity, what comes to mind for you? In this monthly series, we gather to cultivate the inner conditions that allow creativity to live through us in welcoming and expansive ways. Within a shared environment of curiosity, presence, and possibility, you’ll be guided through subconscious explorations, hypnotic techniques, mindfulness, and a splash of expressive arts practices to access resource states, deepen sensory awareness, and shift perspectives. How Did You Get Here? And Where Is Here?
A Meetup and Conversation with Portland Psychedelic Arts & Practice
Free to attend. Donations optional. Suggested donation: $5-$20.
For the first gathering of Portland Psychedelic Arts & Practice, let’s start with the people who are actually here. We’ll spend the evening getting to know one another, sharing some of the stories that brought us to psychedelics, and talking about what we want this community to become.
A Way of Love
A Way of Love
With Josephine Spilka
Friday, October 23, 2026 - 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, October 24, 2026 - 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Program Cost: Dana / Donation (suggested $108)
To sign up: https://www.josephinespilka.com/spiritual
A way of love is all about union. In union, you find no resistance to things as they are. You feel the presence of a wisdom deep and ancient even as you reckon with the limitations of your human form in this lifetime. In intimate connection with the flow of your own vitality, energy, and awareness, you are invited to imagine yourself as She Who Hears the Cries of the World, embodying compassion and mercy in the form of the goddess herself. As the goddess, your own ideas of who you are and who you may become fall away. She cannot help but respond to all who ask for her support. You too, hear the cries of the world and you, too, wish to respond.

Roots of Love: A Family Constellations Workshop
With Ramiro Peralta
Brought to you by We Touch the Earth
Saturday, October 17th, and Sunday, October 18th, 2026
9:00 am to 6:00 pm
2-Day Workshop Sliding Scale: $425/$525/$625
(installment plans available)
There are stories that began long before us—stories that still live within the ways we love, connect with others, and move through life.
At times, we may feel that something is holding us back. We repeat the same relationship patterns, carry pain we cannot fully understand, or remain trapped in situations that continue to arise despite our efforts to change. Perhaps it is not a lack of strength. Perhaps a story is waiting to be seen. Roots of Love is an invitation to reconnect with our origins and gently explore the invisible dynamics within our family system that may still be shaping our lives today.

Writing has long been a practice that supports truth-telling, insight, courage, capacity, and connection. It’s a place where what lies below the surface of awareness can emerge as insight and often meaningful change. In this workshop, open to women and non-binary-identifying people, we will add a layer of group process and meditation in which listening and being seen set us up to live freely and wholeheartedly. Writing, mindfulness, and group therapeutic experiences are all supported by clinical research as tools through which we can gain strength and steadiness through which to meet our days. Let’s gather together and see what’s possible. As Anton Chekhov says, “Art prepares us for tenderness.”

Happiness Lab
With Mandy Miller
Please join us at this Spring’s Happiness Lab, an in-person group experiment of connection, introspection, and laughter. We will practice the six elements of Happiness in a series of group and individual activities that are mindful and playful, relational and courageous. Think of a micro-workshop where Authentic Relating meets Meditation.
The results of the evening’s experiment promise to inspire a bright spark in a time of uncertainty, to provide a supportive and grounded space to foster connection at a time of separateness and divisiveness, and to leave you with portable personal skills to use any time, anywhere, to slide your mood further up the Happiness dial.
Bring a journal, a fellow alchemizer, and curiosity.
