An invitation and introduction to a series of 4-hour classes dedicated to discovering and awakening the subtle body—the living, felt layers of experience that lie just beneath ordinary awareness. By drawing attention inward to your direct, embodied feeling perception, you open the door to subtler sensations, unexpected insights, and epiphanies—much like the wonder that arises when exploring a new country. This is not abstract theory; it is a direct, experiential path into awareness in the body/heart/mind. If you have struggled to deepen (or even begin) a meditation practice, felt redundant in your yoga or sport, or longed for a clearer map of somatic/psychological/spiritual embodiment, these sessions offer a gentle yet powerful way forward.
As you sustain inward attention over time, subtler and subtler layers of embodied experience naturally emerge. These practices—influenced especially from 8th–11th century Indian yogic traditions (preserved in Tibetan Buddhist lineages in which I’ve trained extensively), alongside insights from Qi Gong, Hatha Yoga, Diamond Approach, Structural Integration and other somatic schools—offer a holistic pathway to greater emotional intelligence, authentic embodiment, vivid spiritual experiences, and enlivened daily practice. Many people experience fleeting awe at the mystery of being alive in a body, yet lack a structured, felt way to explore and integrate that wonder. This series provides exactly that clear lay of the land.
Each 4-hour session follows a unique rhythm: roughly one hour of thematic teaching (theory, philosophy, history, linguistic roots, and anatomy/physiology connections), followed by extended periods of guided movement, meditation, and reflective inquiry—all centered on that day’s aspect of the subtle body. The emphasis is heavily on practice rather than lecture; participants often describe feeling they have meditated for hours with surprisingly little of the usual effort, drowsiness, or distraction. We combine gentle movement, precise somatic inquiry, and traditional techniques (including elements that support drishti, bandhas, alignment, and pranayama) in ways that make deep states accessible even to beginners or those who find seated meditation challenging. The classes build sequentially, creating cumulative depth—ideally taken in order for the fullest journey.
This series is especially supportive for anyone wishing to deepen yoga, meditation, or somatic awareness; integrate philosophy, psychology, and anatomy into lived experience; or simply move toward a more vibrant, embodied relationship to reality. No prior experience is required—only curiosity and a willingness to feel.
Join us for this full tour of the subtle body and its transformative practices. Spaces are limited to ensure personal attention.
